‘Win 7 Home Security’ a virus? Help?

I tried downloading something then my laptop made the signing in sound and the internet windows closed themselves off. Now when I try to access the internet through Firefox Win 7 Home Security keeps popping up and asks me to purchase the full version. I was only able to access the internet by going through via my hotmail. I’m scanning with McAfee right now but it saying nothing so far.
