Very extremly hard riddle?

Not wanting to go to jail he grabs his golf bag sets it outside goes into the kitchen for ten minutes and sets the bugerlar alarm befor going out the back door. (the burglar alarm goes off if anything moves) Five minutes later the alarm goes off. All the police find in the kitchen is a puddle a frying pan and a cokie sheet. How did he do it?????? heres some more they found the pan cokie sheet and the puddle in the kitchen. So he did not burn the house down. Tey found them near a table.

the puddle, was a puddle of blood. so it moved naturally, as the man bled out. the cookie sheet and frying pan were just there.

He puts ice on the pan on the cookie sheet, when the ice melts, the pan goes off the ground and sets the alarm, something likes that. Our english class solved this riddle in like 5 minutes.

well he boiled the water it over boiled and spilled onto the cookie pan which fell to the floor trigering the alarm!
