MAZDA 6 OWNERS/MECHANICS: Does the anti-theft light flash consistently in the dash?

i’m having intermittent trouble getting my car to start. my mechanic (also my cousin) believes that its either the security system preventing the car from starting or its some other sensor. we noticed that the security indicator was flashing the entire time we were trying to get it started. we’ve ruled out all the other possibilities (fuel pump/filter, alternator, transmission, etc.)
any ideas as to what it might be is greatly appreciated.
couple things:
no door lock on the passenger side (gay, i know).
my keyless entry no longer works after one fateful night, a drunken toss and a fatal fall of about 15 feet.
brand new oil, oil filter, and air filter as of 8/1.

i dont not have an idea of what can be causing your problem but i do know that on ford, lincoln, mercury, volvo and mazda that the red theft light does flash when the car is not on. it is supposed to deter criminals from stealing the car

security system sensor
Go to the passenger door to unlock it with your key. That should shut off the Anti-theft system. Now try to start. If not, try to unlock the driver door with your key and try again.

it has nothin to do w/the security system ill tell u that. its supposed to flash like that it shows the “bad guys” if u will that if they try to take somethin out of the car it wont work in their car and the alarm will go off also did u check the oil u may need new oil or a new filter
