Is there a significance for unexplained happenings at 3:00a.m?
spooked asked:
In July of last year the fire alarm in our education center (our old church) went off at 3:00a.m. – false alarm. One week later the burglar alarm went off at the same time – footprints were found in the building but no indication of a breakin. A call was made from the office at 3:00a.m. to an unknown person who had caller ID and called to find out why we were calling at 3:00a.m. – no one was in the building at that time. Last night the fire alarm went off at 3:00a.m. – false alarm.

It’s a corruption of the holy trinity. Jesus is said to have died at 3pm (but by whose time?) and dark, demonic forces use 3am as a mockery of his death.

Watch the movie ‘Exorcism of Emily Rose’…they mention it. Something about 3pm is the holy hour ’cause that is when Jesus died, so 3am is the unholy hour or some such silliness.

well as a person with some electrical knowledge, i would have the fire alarms checked for schedualed tests. they may have been accidently programmed at 3:00 am instead of 3:00 pm and just got into a feedback loop.
as a religious man i would say that the exorcisim of emily rose was somewhat correct.
To some…
3:00 am is considered to be the polar opposite to the time that Jesus died. making this time the hour of darkness or of Satan.
as this is a belief of some catholic exorcists i would suggest that you have a catholic priest inspect your building and possibly do a blessing.

The witching hour I guess. Wikipedia states, “In the 2005 film The Exorcism of Emily Rose, the witching hour is referred to as occurring at 3 A.M., as opposed to midnight. In the film it is said that this is the hour each night when demons mock the Holy Trinity, and also that it is the opposite of three in the afternoon, the hour when Jesus Christ was crucified.”
Maybe that’s it, huh? Or maybe something to do with circadian rhythms. I’ve heard that most accidents are between 2am-4am and reaction times are slowest and body rhythms are slowed down.

We had some strange happenings at our old church too….supposedly caused by the bishop who was buried there. In the chapel no one could ever take a photograph (with plenty of flash and lighting) that was ever visible….it was always a blur or too dark. Otherwise, you got me!
