Evidently you have never been through the immigration system here in the US. The US immigration system is a nightmare. It takes a long time (especially when compared to other developed countries) it is also very expensive.
If we cut out the visa waiver program, I can guarantee you a dime to a dollar that all the other countries would then do the same to American citizens..requiring us to apply for visa’s in advance of our travel. That would p*ss most Americans off, who travel abroad.
I agree that security needs to be tighter. Not going to argue this point.

You can’t ever have applied for a visa to the US if you think pretty much anybody gets them. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Plenty of people are refused visa because they can’t prove sufficient ties to their home and are seen as immigration risk – not because their are suspected of any criminal activity.

i agree…we are getting over crowded as it is..our home security is doing a fair job which to me is not good….we want more and deserve more than a fair job..we are filled with insurgents and we have no idea who they are…scary i think
