The alarm activates when u lock the car with ur keyless entry and deactivates when its unlocked. You prob dont need anything extra froa dded seccurtiy becuase if they break a window and open the door from inside the alarm will sound. And if they try to start the car while the alarm is still activated the alarm will sound. Lo Jack is also a good thing to get even if you have a great alarm system.

the alarm that its going to have is if someone unlocks it from the inside. meaning if they break the window or if u leave the window down. and the sentury key is they cant steal it with a cut key or hot wiring it.
